What homeowners and designers ask before starting a custom project.

How long do custom projects take?
Custom work takes six to eight weeks once the design is approved and the order is placed. Working to a deadline? Tell us at the start and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
What is the minimum order for custom work?
There’s no minimum. We’ve made everything from a single mantel to a full package for one home, with surrounds, wall cladding, pier caps and balustrades. Custom work is priced per project from your drawings, not from a list price.
Do you do design consultations?
Yes. Every custom project starts with a conversation. Whoever is leading the project (architect, designer, builder or homeowner) walks us through the idea and shares the dimensions. Within two business days we’ll send a proposal with pricing, 2D drawings and 3D renderings, and we’ll keep revising it until you’re happy.
Can I match an existing piece of stone?
Yes. You can pick from our eight standard colors, which cover most projects, or send us a physical sample of your stone and we’ll quote a stain to match it. Either way, you approve the color in your proposal before we make anything.
Are custom orders refundable?
Custom pieces can’t be returned once production starts, because each one is made to your drawings and sizes. That’s why we confirm every dimension, profile and finish with you in writing before we begin. If you’d like to see the color and texture in person first, order a sample set.
