What homeowners and designers ask before starting a custom project.

How long do custom projects take?
Custom projects run longer than the standard six-week window. Typical timeline: eight to twelve weeks from design lock — two weeks for designer collaboration and CAD review, two to four weeks for tooling and mold work, then six weeks for casting, finishing, crating, and freight. Expedited production is reserved for standard models; custom pieces are scheduled per project.
What is the minimum order for custom work?
No formal minimum. We have cast single mantel projects and full envelope packages — surrounds, dimensional cladding, pier caps, balustrades — for one residence. Pricing is per project; we scope to the drawings, not a list price.
Do you do design consultations?
Yes. Every custom project starts with a conversation. Designer, homeowner, builder, or architect walks us through the vision and shares dimensions. Within two business days we send a proposal with pricing, 2D drawings, and 3D renderings. Unlimited revisions until you sign off.
Can I match an existing piece of stone?
We recommend choosing one of our standard colors first — they cover most projects and skip the matching step. If you need an exact match to existing stone, send over a physical sample and we will quote a concrete stain to match the finish. Color is approved at proposal stage before we manufacture.
Are custom orders refundable?
Custom orders are non-returnable. Each project is cast to your drawings and dimensions, so the tooling and finished piece are not stock. Every dimension, profile, and finish is confirmed in writing before manufacturing begins. Order samples first to approve color and texture in person; we manufacture against the approved finish.
