That's the same for every standard model, from Newport to Louis XV, and each one is made to order in Salem, Oregon. A hearth ordered with your surround is made on the same schedule and ships with it, and freight is free in the contiguous 48 states. Need it sooner? GFRC stands for glass fiber reinforced concrete. It's the cast stone we make, from Portland cement, graded quartzite sand, silica fume and an admixture, reinforced with alkali-resistant glass fiber. PSI stands for pounds per square inch, the unit concrete strength is measured in. Ours is made with a GFRC premix rated at 11,000 PSI, and it still casts crisp, detailed profiles. It's made mainly of mineral materials, which is why it suits a fireplace surround.

Yes. Any standard model can be made to fit your opening: we adjust the width, height and depth, and you pick the color and finish. For bigger changes, like a new profile or a design that's all your own, our custom projects team takes it from there, and custom work takes six to eight weeks once the design is approved and the order is placed.

Yes. Surrounds and mantels ship with free curbside freight anywhere in the contiguous 48 states, and we quote freight to Alaska and Hawaii. In-person installation is a paid concierge add-on anywhere from Eugene to Portland (including Vancouver, Washington) and from Bend to the Oregon coast. Outside that area, we coordinate with your general contractor, and every order comes with our install guide, a finish kit and phone support during the install.

Yes. Approved trade partners (architects, interior designers and builders) get 10% off published list on every standard model. Custom and volume projects are quoted per project. Applying takes about three minutes, we review applications within two business days, and you get a free sample set once you're approved. Showrooms that want to sell our pieces have their own dealer program.
