Everything ships pre-sealed in a custom crate by FedEx Freight, free anywhere in the contiguous 48 states. Inside: the surround or mantel, its filler panels (unless your design leaves them out), and a finish kit with touch-up stain and color-matched caulk.

The set has all eight of our colors on 5 by 2.5 inch samples, so you can hold them up to your floors, walls and trim. Seven show our Honed finish and one shows Tuscan Light in Travertine. We ship it from Salem in two business days, and it’s free for approved trade partners.

Care and maintenance.

Cast stone is naturally porous. Ours is wet cast and ships sealed, so the surface has low porosity. Small variations in color and texture are a natural part of cast stone, so every piece has its own character.

  • Routine cleaning: soft cloth and warm water
  • For heavier marks: a mild, neutral-pH detergent
  • Use felt pads under décor; place candles on trays
  • Reseal every five years indoors, every year outdoors
  • Skip acids, bleach, and abrasive pads

Frequently asked questions about the Meduri.

What are the standard dimensions of the Meduri?
The Meduri comes in three sizes: Studio (66¼ × 54 in), Signature (71¼ × 59 in), and Grand (76¼ × 64 in). Need a different size? We can change the width, height, and depth to fit your firebox opening. Send us your dimensions through the project form, and we’ll quote the resize.
What colors are available on the Meduri?
Pick from eight standard colors: Italian White, Subtle Gray, Meadow Mist, Gentle Cream, Tuscan Light, Imperial Slate, Carbon Charcoal, and Natural Stone. Or ask us to match a color you already have; we quote color matching with your project. Our $55 sample set lets you see the colors in person before we make your piece.
How long does production and delivery take?
Production takes six weeks from the day your order is placed and paid. Freight then takes 4 to 8 business days. Need it sooner? We can make it in three weeks for 35% above list price; that can’t be combined with the trade discount.
Can the Meduri be installed by my contractor?
Yes. Your mantel arrives crated with its filler panels and a finish kit for touch-ups. Most general contractors install a three-piece mantel in six to eight hours with two to three installers, and our install guide and phone support are there the whole way. In-person installation is a paid concierge add-on from Eugene to Portland (including Vancouver, Washington) and from Bend to the Oregon coast. Outside that area, we coordinate with your general contractor. See the install guide
What happens if the mantel arrives damaged?
Each piece is heavy-duty crated for FedEx Freight. If you can see damage at delivery, refuse the delivery or note the damage on the receipt, and send us photos within 24 hours. We handle the freight claim. Pieces damaged beyond repair are remade or replaced, and minor damage is repaired.

Yes. Architects, interior designers, and builders can apply in about three minutes, and we review applications within two business days.
