Care and maintenance.

Cast stone is naturally porous. Ours is wet cast and ships sealed, so the surface has low porosity. Small variations in color and texture are a natural part of cast stone, so every piece has its own character.

  • Routine cleaning: soft cloth and warm water
  • For heavier marks: a mild, neutral-pH detergent
  • Use felt pads under décor; place candles on trays
  • Reseal every five years indoors, every year outdoors
  • Skip acids, bleach, and abrasive pads

What sizes does the Wood-Grain come in?
The Wood-Grain comes in 48", 60", 72", and 84" lengths. Need a different length? Send us your dimensions through the project form, and we’ll quote it.
How long does production and delivery take?
Production takes six weeks from the day your order is placed and paid. Freight then takes 4 to 8 business days. Need it sooner? We can make it in three weeks for 35% above list price; that can’t be combined with the trade discount.
How is the Wood-Grain installed?
A mantel shelf is one cast piece set on a single horizontal ledger, with no legs and no surround. Plan on two installers and two to three hours of active time; the hardest part is locating the studs and getting the ledger level. See the install guide
What happens if the shelf arrives damaged?
Each piece is heavy-duty crated for FedEx Freight. If you can see damage at delivery, refuse the delivery or note the damage on the receipt, and send us photos within 24 hours. We handle the freight claim. Pieces damaged beyond repair are remade or replaced, and minor damage is repaired.
